Flora Dorian

Flora Dorian is a London-based artist whose oil paintings explore the poetry of plants; vivid, expressive works that hover somewhere between observation and imagination. Her latest pieces centre on twisting stems and saturated petals, often punctuated by strange, hand-like forms that feel quietly surreal.

There’s a softness to her style, but also a sense of movement. Colour fades into colour, edges dissolve, and each canvas feels like it might shift or breathe if you looked long enough. This series captures flowers not just as subjects, but as symbols of energy, memory and becoming.
