The Brand

Pairs was founded in Scotland in 2020 by Alice Macfarlane, who set out to make better socks after a cold Highlands walk with her young daughter left her frustrated with ordinary cotton. Pairs looks beyond cotton to the world's finest natural fibres — merino, alpaca, mohair, bamboo and wool — working with makers who share the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability.

Small (UK4-7)

60% merino wool, 36% polyamide, 1% elastane — naturally moisture-wicking, odour-resistant and temperature-regulating. Made in Portugal.

Machine wash at up to 40°C on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not tumble dry or bleach — reshape while damp and air dry flat, away from radiators and other direct heat. Iron on a low setting only if needed.
