The Brand

Pairs was founded in Scotland in 2020 by Alice Macfarlane, who set out to make better socks after a cold Highlands walk with her young daughter left her frustrated with ordinary cotton. Pairs looks beyond cotton to the world's finest natural fibres — merino, alpaca, mohair, bamboo and wool — working with makers who share the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability.

Small (UK4-7)

74% merino wool, 24% recycled polyamide, 1% elastane, 1% polyester — naturally moisture-wicking, odour-resistant and temperature-regulating. Made in Portugal.

Hand wash at up to 30°C, or use a gentle machine/wool cycle — wash with similar colours and turn inside out first. Spin on low and do not tumble dry; reshape while damp and dry flat away from heat and sunlight. Do not bleach, iron, or use fabric softener.
